Platter docs
Prepare two priced options, send an approved offer, and keep your client's acceptance and deposit invoice together. Platter handles GST-free offers in Australian dollars.
Start here
- Getting started: run Platter on your computer and add your first client.
- Proposals and acceptance: prepare, approve, send, accept and export a deposit invoice.
- Agent access: let an agent prepare drafts while you approve and send.
- Move in your clients: preview a client CSV, apply it and undo an unused import.
- Backup and restore: preserve business records and move them into a fresh installation.
These guides describe your installed Platter app. Open its own address to use Proposals, Clients, Import and Agent access. The public run site at https://run-platter.com contains instructions; it does not hold your proposals or sign you into your installation.
What Platter keeps
Sending freezes the scope, both options and their prices. A verified client chooses one option and accepts with their name and consent. Platter retains that agreement and can export its deposit as one invoice CSV in Xero's columns. Repeating the export returns the same invoice.
Platter does not collect payments, calculate GST, generate proposal PDFs or sync directly with Xero. Check the exported CSV's account and tax settings before importing it into your books, and import each invoice only once.
